Masicka is bringing his Forever1NE brand home to Portmore with a new music festival set for December 19.
Dancehall artist Masicka has announced the inaugural Forever1NE Music Festival, marking his first headline show in his hometown of Portmore.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026, at Caymanas Park, with Masicka set to headline alongside special guests and additional performers yet to be announced. The event is being presented by Masicka and his 1Syde team in partnership with Zimi Entertainment, with Magnum serving as title partner.
For Masicka, the event represents a return to the community that has been central to his identity as an artist.
“Portmore is home, so being able to touch the stage here and bring Forever1NE to the people means a lot,” Masicka said in announcing the festival.
The announcement comes during an important period in Masicka’s career following the release of his third studio album, Forever Reign, in August.
The 17-track project was released through Def Jam Recordings and continued the artist’s international push while maintaining his connection to dancehall. According to the Jamaica Observer, the album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, extending Masicka’s run of top-five placements on the chart across all three of his studio albums.
The Forever1NE festival also gives Masicka an opportunity to expand the identity surrounding his latest musical era beyond recorded music and into live entertainment.
Caymanas Park, better known as a major horse-racing venue, will become the setting for the new event as Masicka brings his own branded festival to Portmore.
“Forever1NE has always represented more than just me,” Masicka said. “It represents the people who have been with me from the beginning, the fans, the team and everybody who believes in the journey.”
Organisers have not yet revealed the complete lineup or additional festival details. Those announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
For the Portmore-born deejay, Forever1NE represents another step in extending his musical brand while bringing a major dancehall event to the community that helped shape his career.
