A new studio video captures an informal creative session with Diplo, Witty and Fat Joe

Witty has found himself in the studio with Diplo, with a new video offering a glimpse of an informal creative session that also features Fat Joe as new music takes shape.

The short clip captures the kind of behind-the-scenes environment where records can begin before a title, release date or finished production has been announced.

Diplo is seen alongside Witty during the session, engaging with him as they work through ideas. Rather than showing a finished performance, the footage captures the creative process in progress, with Diplo appearing to offer input while Witty remains focused on the music.

The track being developed is not identified in the video. There is also no confirmed indication that the session will ultimately result in a Witty and Diplo collaboration, a record involving additional artists, or material for a larger project.

Fat Joe is also visible in the room, seated behind Witty and using his phone while working on his own material. His presence adds another hip-hop connection to the session, although the footage does not establish that he is involved in the same record.

A woman can also be seen with the group as the session unfolds.

The relaxed atmosphere of the footage contrasts with the concentration in the room. Witty appears engaged with Diplo’s input, while Fat Joe remains occupied with his own work.

The session comes as Diplo continues an active run of releases and collaborations. His recent work includes “Nothing Into Something” with Coi Leray, released in September, while Major Lazer has also been building toward a new album.

Major Lazer confirmed this week that the group is working on its next studio album. Speaking around the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Diplo said the project would feature a number of guest appearances, with the group indicating that the album is expected in 2027.

For now, however, there is little information beyond what the studio footage reveals.

No song title has been disclosed, and no release date has been announced for whatever material may be taking shape in the room.

What is visible is a group of artists working through ideas: Diplo exchanging input with Witty, Fat Joe focused on his own material and others moving around the session.

Whether the footage ultimately leads to a released record or simply documents an early creative meeting, it offers a look at music before it reaches the public stage.
